From downtime enjoying the simple joy of nature, to active adventures and historic city day trips, the pod facilities and stunning location ensure a perfect stay in the countryside. Purpose built on a small family farm close to the village of Lanchester, the pods are situated just 10 miles from the historic city of Durham, with the first of four lodge pods opening summer 2022.

The spacious hand crafted pods host sleeping for up to 4 people, with a luxurious double bed and further fold out double sofa bed. We strive for perfect comfort during your stay, with a spacious en-suite bathroom, fully equipped open plan kitchen and relaxing dining and seating area.
The living area features a smart TV, music sound bar, comfortable sofa and bean bag set, perfect for putting your feet up. Breath taking views of Durham Valley and our farmland can be enjoyed from all areas of the pod.
The well thought out modern kitchen ensures you have everything you need during your stay, such as crockery, bottle openers, glasses, kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer.
A welcome hamper of foods including tea, coffee, sugar, jam, butter, pastries, milk, orange juice and prosecco is included in your stay. We also provide condiments and olive oil, towels, shower gels & shampoo.

Each pod hosts it's own beautiful patio area, complete with a large jacuzzi hot tub and beautiful wooden pergola, offering complete privacy and accommodating all weathers.
Enjoy delicious al fresco dining with comfortable table seating for up to 4 people, a large BBQ egg, pizza oven and wood burning stove, perfect for cosying up amongst the stars on a chilly evening. You can feel at ease with everything you need on hand, including cooking utensils, crockery, charcoal, logs and fire lighters.
Sheltered from the wind and offering panoramic farmland views, the raised deck on your doorstep is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine and a good book.
Sheep and horses produced on the farm can be seen grazing the surrounding fields together with lambs and foals throughout the year. Guests can enjoy further views across the farmland from a fenced walkway leading to a tranquil wildlife pond covering over a third of an acre on the site.
